Artist Statement

Glass is magical.
It breaks, bends, melts, and fuses – often with a mind of its own.
And the challenge of working with this exquisite medium has captivated me for over 25 years now.
As has my muse – Nature.
What I create, day after day, are my dreams of Nature in her various forms and elements.
While my work is simply my interpretation of the world around us, I believe everyone can discover and decipher their own meanings in each piece.
My passion for our environment has also led me to primarily use post-consumer glass, like windows, bottles, and mirrors. Right from concept to creation, I aim to give these ordinary materials a new life – while giving reality a new twist.
